Anticipation for the new vehicle is high as the car is receiving great remark- the Grand Cherokee was named the “Car of the Month” for July by NADAguides.com, a provider of vehicle pricing and information.
The 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee is available in three trims levels, Laredo, Limited and Overland. All three trims are available in either four wheel drive or rear wheel drive. Four wheel drive has three driving system options, Quadra-Trac I, Quadra-Trac II and Quadra-Drive II. The Quadra-Trac II and Quadra-Drive II have a Selec-Terrain system, which allows the driver to choose from five terrain modes: automatic, sand/mud, sport, snow and rock.
The 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee has the same Hemi V-8 engine as previous models, but will also be available with a new Pentastar-V6 engine. The fuel tank capacity has been increased to 24.6 gallons and achieved an estimated fuel economy of 16city/22hwy. The 2011 Jeep is 2 inches longer and 3 inches wider for more legroom and cargo space.
The exterior of the Jeep has been updated to maintain sportiness, but add a luxurious feel.
The biggest changes Jeep made in the 2011 Grand Cherokee was the vehicle’s interior. Elements of luxury, including leather seats, a panoramic sunroof overhead, ambient lighting and wood paneling makes it easy to forget that the vehicle is designed for off-roading.

The 2011 Jeep Wrangler will include a much quieter wide, as engineers increased acoustical treatment in the Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited. Their outside appearance was updated on the Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited Sahara models with an all-new, premium, body-color hard top.
The Jeep Wrangler features an all-new steering-wheel that puts the controls right in the driver’s reach. Radio controls, cruise control, hands-free phone and other vehicle functions are right on the steering wheel, decreasing driver distractions.
“The iconic Jeep Wrangler keeps getting better,” said Mike Manley, President and CEO – Jeep Brand, Chrysler Group LLC. “While retaining unmatched, legendary capability, the 2011 Jeep Wrangler boasts an all-new interior that delivers a host of comfort, convenience and versatility features. In addition, Sahara models now feature a stunning, all-new body-color hard top, for customers looking for a Jeep Wrangler with a more premium appearance.”
