Chrysler 200 Series

Chrysler introduced the 2011 Chrysler 200 to replace the Sebring. Chrysler has done an outstanding job with the 200, offering both sedan and convertible body styles, as well as three trim levels – LX (sedan only), Touring and Limited.

Exterior & Interior

The 2011 Chrysler 200 in Long Island also wears entirely new front sheet-metal with new lighting elements. The decklid also is new and incorporates LED taillights. The new grille and headlights resemble elegance.

Building on the value-packed LX trim, the Touring adds aluminum wheels, an 8-way power driver’s seat, automatic climate control, satellite radio and a garage door opener.

Inside, the Chrysler 200 has a much-improved cabin that includes soft-touch armrests and door panels. Other revisions include a new instrument panel with fresh gauges, as well as revised seats with more “cushion material and revised spring geometry.”

Powertrains and Performance

Powertrains for the 2011 Chrysler 200 in NY will include the 2.4-liter four cylinder mated to a four- or six-speed automatic and the new Pentastar V-6, which produces up to 290 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque in other applications and will exclusively be paired with a six-speed auto.

The V-6’s output will put it at the top of the segment and should make for spirited stoplight drags.

Special Features

The Limited trim boasts exclusive features that include 18-inch polished aluminum wheels, heated front seats and leather upholstery, as well as a multimedia centre with 30 gigabytes of internal memory, USB port, Bluetooth streaming audio and DVD video capability.

Additionally, a hardtop option is available for convertible models.

Safety features include stability and traction control systems, anti-lock brakes with brake assist, active front head restraints, six airbags, tire pressure monitoring and a security system.
